Idioms, Idiots, Ignorant?

Tongkang Pecah.... that's malay phrase which means, in direct english direct translation 'an old chinese boat that's destroyed really bad beyond repair'. it's often used to explain how messed up is the room/area that'll take a really long time to clean up.

now... here's the thing, i feel like there's so many malay 'peribahasa' or idioms that are actually expired... OR need some refinement. seriously... who in the world, uses a TONGKANG currently as of now, as i am speaking in this world. i think they even transport immigrants using a huge vessel. either that or at least change it to 'kapal terbang pecah', if they still decide to refer it as a mode of transport for ppl.

yeah... i think there's other malay idioms out ther of which i think really needs an update. i dont think we should stick to the old ones... hence explaining why some kids today, when they do their UPSR/PMR/SPM they get soooo confused with the phrase.

one of the most difficult job in the world....

i've never thought about it... but i think... one of the most difficult job in the world... would be the person who's doing the stamping at the immigration counter.

Can you imagine... the number of WEIRD names that they stumble upon, and they have to pull a straight face, biting their inner lip, holding their gut from laughing outloud to a name let's say 'Kambing Bin Biri'?? and yes... seriously... those kinda names DO exist. no shit.

of course like some difficult african names beyond the normal human tongue would be difficult to pronounce... i think they're actually pretty cool with that. but how bout really those weird understandable names, 'Roger anak Aut', 'Beruk bin Hutan'.

yeps... the guy at the counter would be hangin on hard. once the guy leaves like 2 minutes, he'd be laughing out loud to his colleague at the next counter saying 'dude, i just stamped 'Lubang bin E-dong'.

hmmm. i wonder how'd they do it.
