Nice break for me....

finally... after working 3 weeks straight... i finally get a nice rest of 1 and a half day. the first day was just relaxing at home with a noon nap then watched 'tokyo drift'. DAMN.... DAMN!! i wish i cud have an evo now. but watever it is, i will always want my Mustang Shelby... Eleanor. No real girl can take dat away from me. seriously. they have it in gone in 60 secs, xXx, fast and the furious, and even in Shakira's video where she just trashed one. i would love to smack her so much for doing that. just tore my hearts out.

it kinda feels good, just relaxing at home, doing ur laundry, and watched a movie. after 3 weeks working straight with no break. one of the coolest highlights of the week ... well actually there's only two cool highlights of the week. hehehe.

1. i climbed up on one of the highest structure in my plant, on ladders which was probably about 8-10 storeys high. damn... it was worth it. just to go up there and do some dust samplings on welders. probably one of the coolest thing i had to do for my job so far. being all sweaty and breathless... in my red coveralls. hahahaha. was a nice damn view up there too. now i know one thing for sure... i dont have height phobia.mainly because the platform i stand on was just like grills, and u can see aaaaaall the way down. hehehe. cool huh? i felt like i was in some bad mafia movie... especially if the plant was deserted.

2. i took aroud a malaysian icon around the plant. i dont care if some ppl just think im a dork, or im stupid, or ignorant... or kampung.... at least... i had the chance to understand the kampung life and the kampung games... as illustrated by this malaysian icon... in his 'kampung boy' drawings and writings. i dont mind ppl calling me kampung or something. at least... i have one. anyway... i was happy to be hanging around with encik Mohamed Nor Khalid... or better known as Lat. for a cartoonist... he was pretty quiet. but when he talks, you know how he's very attached with his kampung. and how he's creativity develops from just observing and asking questions. his talks arent stupid... and for a grade 3 SPM guy... he was actually very intellectual and understood a lot about the world and the current issue. he'd probably sounded like a philosophy prof at times. a lot of ppl came up just to shake his hands... mostly older ppl who related to his cartoon character. im probably one of the young guys from the plant who understood what he was talking about. one of the things that he said was... even kampung boys these days dont know what is it all about kampung games. the gasing, the ice kepals, the monyet2s, the bamboo guns, and the kelapa leaf ride. its just probably a different time these days.

at the end of the three days of hanging out with him... although so many ppl has already came up to him and asking for pics and their own caricatures drawn, i finally just braved myself to take a pic and ask for his signature which, in the end, he drew me instead. i was quite shy because i didnt want to annoy him since so many ppl were asking him throughout his visit. i was honored enough to take him around and explain to him what a sound level meter, noise dosimeter, and an air pump for dust sampling was. he was a very cool relaxed ipoh guy. i just wish one day... my kids would still get to understand that kampung games instead of rotting their ass on the chair playing computer games and watching animes....

all work... no play....

doesnt it hit u... sometimes u think so much of what could have been, and what will be at this age. u think so much how would u climb up that corporate bullshit ladder, and being judged just by the way you look and not by the way you think and understand. seeing what all this trust fund babies get, and you try to cope with them, with the fashion with the style, when you all you know is just that 60 - 70 % of your money is being used to pay bills that just gives you qualms... wondering if you ever going to have sufficient savings to buy your own house, or your own car, or get married, or even just for a nice holiday... but you keep on spending......

sometimes... just sitting in your cubicle, typing away or just trying to figure out whether the numbers match up or not just makes you feel like you wanna go ballistic coz your orthodox by the book boss just keep being clueless and just wants things at the last minute just for his presentation coz he have some actual numbers to show how cool his department is doing and suddenly being belligerent towards you for no purpose at all just to show who's the man... and who's the bitch.

what sucks the most... dont you think... you're being unscrupulous to what you were excited to do before u graduate, when you we're in high school, and just succumb to the world and just be a part of the rat race while the big shots just lays the cheese around in the maze and let the rats struggle and fight each other just to be part of the big shots. am i talking bullshit? or am i not? i dont know anymore......

all i know is... never in our birth certificate did it say... life would be filled with butterflies, ponies, and fairies and everything would be..... perfect......

the pics tell u the stories......

believe or not... this is a pic of me... thanks dato lat... who made us understand that there's a kg.com in everone of us....hopefully....
