Ganu Kito....
So i just got back from quiet old ganu. honestly, from my observation there, there is pros and cons if i was working in Ganu. Food is fuckin cheap and taste fuckin good! honestly. the beaches are really nice, no traffic and all. but the people are probably not as open as bintulu. that is a definite. dont start judging me here but... damn the kain songkets are really nice aaaand also cheap. like shaitss man. dont start with the keropok lekor! that is probably one of the best human invention recipe watchamacallit EVER!! really nice. but there's no mcDs, but the same as bintulu, the only thing we have here is freakin pizza hut and KFC. oh well. you cant have everything rite? One of the things that made me laugh and in awe at the same time was the first morning as i was in the cab on my way to the course, i saw a huge
Digi billboard, with two hot girls posing... in tudungs. they're gorgeous... but with tudung. no haflin shit going on. that was a nice first time... i think. also.... everyday... EVERYDAY... i ate nasi dagang... GANU's nasi dagang.... bring it. no one can top that!!!hahaha.
Honestly, the hotel i stayed in... Primula Beach Resort... SUCKs. probably out of all the hotels Ive been to, that's definitely the suckiest. bad gym facilities, the view is only one stretch of sea with no islands, unlike kk. but at least i had a so-so lodging. was introduced by hbo this new awesome show... entourage! damn... sooo going to download that now. The food of the hotel was okay. NOT exactly awesome... but it was okay. Two things that i ate a lot during hotel breakfast... nasi dagang... and my favorite food back in the US... bleu Cheese. yummy. i made one of my coursemates try it out. he almost threw up. he must've thought i was a freak for eating something that tastes like crap to him.
After that... stayed one night in concorde hotel KL. now... that was awesome. they pick you up for free at the airport..with a condition you get the premier room. they check you in in such a nice modern looking room, and take you to the room. the room was freakin huge, and it was really made for business trips. with a nice table centered out instead of being leaned againts the wall towards a huge mirror. then you could also request complimentary breakfast being sent to your room instead going down. in the room, its equipped with a nice stereo fitted with advd player. so you could actually watch a movie while chilling out. however... im not a big fan of concorde's facility. the gym was okay... sauna was... okay.... but if you compared it to JW Marriot... dear god.... no match at all. JW Marriot has the big spa pool, massage pool, and a huuuuuge sauna room, and outside, there's this nice TV room for you to rest while you rest during intervals of that sauna. and their gym... perggh... top of the line. facing nice bintang walk, and some construction of another hotel or a mall or something facing marriot. really nice. my next stop... somewhere in Subang Jaya for my conference. anyone has any recommendations, please do inform me. ehehe. im psyched. after that... im sooooo trying out KL Hilton. heheh. that's like my everest... i think.
went to Abus and Nadiah's wedding as well before flying off to Ganu. quite happy for them. but as for me... i dont think im getting married anytime soon. yeapss. im happy for those who has met their soul mates and shit... good for you.... but yeah... im just not exactly there. im only gonna get worried when im 30. for the time being, im just gonna live life as much as i can. plus... i was walking around in an electrical store today, and estimated that... the total of electrical stuff that i'd need if i got married... would be RM11K. that's on electrical only (stove, fridge, tv, washing machine, and small stuff like toaster and what nots). then include a whole bedroom set. not going for the top of the notch... just great... totals up to RM6K. then kitchen... probably RM5K. then lastly, the living room stuff... that's another RM6K. so that's easily like RM30K there. doesnt include the wedding day itself. hantaran and all that bullshit some ppl may consider, that's RM40K there. just there. fucking hell. im not going for these big wedding shaits. and no belah laki belah pompuan. fuck it. hence... total of getting married is... RM80K somewhat. I'm never gonna get married at this rate by the age less than 30. i dont know how college kids who just graduated, or still studying do it, and include the babies and all that. shaits. not an easy feat. i'm just a freakin engineer for a malaysian company partly owned by the government. what can you expect with my pay? call me a fucking pessimistic... but yeah... marriage is just not for me now. not in even in 3 - 5 yrs. and please... stop asking me when I'M getting married. fuck off. go fly a fucking kite... thank you.
during my last nite in KL, i was on the way to BSC for dinner and was going on the train. obviously... like sensible people... we should let ppl OUT of the train first rite? somehow it deems wrong to some ppl. as the train's door open, i just stood in the middle as i was the front middle guy and let ppl out first. suddenly i heard from my back a voice of a lady, 'apahal mamat nih, takut nak masuk ke?'. She just had to say it. for the first time in my life, i turned around saw 2 - 3 ladies, and said 'that's damn rude. bagi la orang lain keluar dulu. sheesh.' then paused... went in to the train, while saying 'Nama jekk orang melayu, buat malu kaum.'Honestly... it never felt better. seriously malaysians... who happen to stumble upon my writings on this. please orang malaysia, especially orang melayu yang kononnyer penyabar, beradat, bertudung, bawak nama islam all that shit... act the way you should act. jangan jadik bodoh and bawak nama melayu tuh, and give a fucking disgrace to the race. i dont know if your mama raised a fool... but im sure my mama aint. courtesy sket... bagi orang kuar train dulu. kuar bus dulu. PLEASE.
my current thoughts... isnt it weird... that everyone sponsored or whatever... they only end up in the end... being average joes. average jose. penat study jauh2... cornell, MIT, RPI, Umich, only to end up being a slave, kuli, for a giant company. is that... what you wanna see for your kids? worrying huh? if i knew earlier... much much earlier... how is an engineer's life in malaysia... id definitely wont sign up for it. id better be off being a pilot, or a guy working for the US president. that' how low id go. hehe. working for the stupid ignorant bush administration. oh well. wutever. like i said... life's a BITCH. try ur best to like it... nothing much is gonna happen. all i can say... hang in there.....
